Here we go as promised. I finally had time to upload pics of my hardpipe, IC install and power steering res relocation. I also managed to clean up some wiring and re-route some hoses and vac lines.

i like that idea too. if its not a pain, could you maybe snap a shot of where your hardline meets with the new line you made for the relocation? Just kind of an overhead shot of that area?

you have your 3 and 4 wires backwards :runaway:

Thanks for the heads up but... The prev owner miss labeled the wires, and since I caught it I have not re-labeled them yet. They are however installed to the correct plugs.

I did not make a new hard line. I simply removed the portion of the return line from where it connected to the ps res in it's original location (basically making it shorter) and tied in where I cut it off right before the cooling loop.

Please excuse my crude bracket. Eventually I will fab a nicer one and trim the old brackets off of the res. Rest assured the res is mounted rock solid and does not move at all.

lol scooby doo and shaggy in the background...

Ya the kids have long since out grown their "blankies" but they kept my back from freezing to the ground. It was in the low 30's the night I got started not counting the 15-20 mph wind.

Were did you buy the ic piping?

I was impressed with how heavy the piping was. I did not use the 90's or the hose clamps. I got the reducers and 90's form siliconeintakes.com and the t-bolt clamps on ebay. 20 t-bolt clamps for $38.00 and chg shipped. The Tee fitting is actually an e-bay TurboXS type H bov flange. Worked great for the Bosch 110 bpv and when I go MAFT Pro I'll just pop of the AFM Piping and bpv and snap on the bov.

wait u were impressed they were heavy??
I thought it should be the other way around and it should be light...
is that a typo... if not why would u want them heavy?

I was refering to the thickness or "gauge" of the piping. Yes aluminum piping is very light.

Really nice job there!!!!! :)

Thanks again to everyone for the words of encouragement. It's nice to hear. I worked on it for about 20 hours. Started on a Friday night at about 8pm then caught a few Z's and had it finished about 1am Sunday morning.

If anyone is considering the same type of upgrade I would suggest using a chop saw or umpa lumpas or magic elves or an army of small children to cut all the piping because unless you are use to some intense physical activity cutting all the pipes by hand like I did will suck immensly.
