Nice!!!

So I believe I've lined up an entire R154 swap; everything needed, plus the clutch is a clutchmasters stage 3 or 4 with only 3,500 miles... the tranny has 140,000 miles but was rebuilt 20,000 ago... i think he's askin $545.00... i'd think its a good deal, what would you say??

i have that same exhaust and waiting a month longer than you. The funny thing is that i blew my HG while waiting for the exhaust, so now im down for a rebuild and will have to wait even longer to hear that exhaust.
Please make sure to post up some pix/vids of it installed and also write a review on the Rabid Chimp LB.

I'll try for sure to get some video... gotta find a digi camcorder first... ill have plenty pics tho

I've been looking at the Rabid Chimp website and was wondering how exactly you ordered your setup.. Like, did u order it with hard pipes and everything or is that going to be a seperate thing you will do. I just started getting a rod knock in my 7mgte and 2k for what they offer sounds good.

no actually my motor came in today!! I was so excited to see it on its side on a crushed pallot, which was covered by a piece of a Pacesetter Exhaust box!! All wrapped with two of those QUALITY nylon straps!! Holy shit... I peel back the cardboard from the "custom crate" that I so generously donated an additional 50 dollars for(thought it was going to be an actual box crate), to see that that the turbo that was supposed to be included wasn't even there!!! WTF!!!:icon_evil After getting the motor on a stand we noticed a few more cons.. The fuel J line on the block below the intake plenum was bent and snappen nearly off! Caused mostly due to hmmm, maybe its wonderful position on the "custom crate". The studs on the turbo manifold were pulled out when it was removed for surfacing the head.. Some new parts were installed including waterpump w/gasket, mhg and ARP studs, valve cover gaskets, front and rear main seals (as far as I can tell) and spark plugs. We also realized that the oil pan hadn't been taken off, therefore the crank and rod bearings could not have been visually inspected as stated on HPF.com as well as Rabidchimp.com.. All in all I guess it wasn't soo bad, but not having a turbo on it and being kinda beat up from forklifts and the sort.. I forgot to mention I had my digi cam this entire time and didn't hesitate to take pictures...

After failing to calm my unexplainable rage, I called Ben at HPF.. I told him the whole deal, and he was prompt to help.. Ben said to send him some pics and would be sure to contact both the shipping company and Rabid Chimp, as well as myself as soon as he recieved more information.

Unfortunately at this moment Im not at my own computer so I will put some pictures up as soon as I get home.. :nono:
