Exhaust is unbolted, elbow is out, stock turbo is out (with practically no excess play radially, and ZERO axially!)

Oil system is completely gone on the car now :D With the wicked storm through Central Florida yesterday, I didn't get a whole lot done like I wanted to - but it's coming along slowly :)

And the stocker:

Update!

FINALLY GOT THE OIL COOLING SYSTEM FINISHED!

Well, almost. Have to bracket off some of the hoses, as well as put clamps on.

The setup:

Not too bad. Not wild about the 1/2" NPT fittings everywhere, but eh - it's what I had, and I was $160 over budget anyway :D

You can see the adapter, and the extension I had to use so I could screw both nipples in place.

Runs nicely through that hole!

No worries, after tax return I'm going to replace the hose (you can see where I got antsy and cut 2 of the lines too short, so I had to splice pieces in) and fittings so everything is -10an. I wanted at least that size hose, instead of 1/2" (-8an)

Tomorrow: IC piping. Preliminary testing shows no interference with the oil system!

Figures. the IC piping would have fit fine, but the TURBO WOULDN'T - the oil adapter with the fittings stuck too far out - had to redo the system down there, with shorter fittings.

All done. That was yesterday.

TODAY:
Upper IC piping is all tacked up! I don't trust my welding skillz yet to not leak (I mean, I've been welding now... 2 hours?) so I've got a buddy with an oxy-acetylene setup that is an artist with welding. I'm not taking the chance that the system will have any leaks!

So here's what the last 2 hours have wrought:

Not too shabby, if I do say so!

Now to do the lower IC pipe, and figure out where I want my BOV to be!

Fixed the pics so it's all thumbnailed. Click on the pic to see it bigger :)

It's pouring rain here today, but my MAFT-Pro is damn well going in!

if you dont mind me asking, how did you stroke the 2.8. is there a way to do it using toyota parts, or did you have a custom made setup.

LOL, it's cool. Going from a 2.99" stroke to a 3.31" stroke sure was a nice jump, though!

doward-
Glad to see you are doing something with your supra. Just wanted to let you know that the 88t that I :biglaugh: :biglaugh: bought from you in the summer is now becoming an 88TT!! I picked up my 1jzgte this morning & it came with everything. It was like buying the clip with everything already pulled and ready for install. I'll probably start a build thread so I can get some feedback from everyone.
Good luck with that 7m. I'll look you up when mines finished.

Yes! Sounds like it'll be fun. We'll meet up over @ Gainesville Raceway. Hopefully p5150 will show up too :biglaugh:

Srsly, I am *loving* this MAFT-Pro. I'm still verifying everything on it, and I'm not going to actually boost until I've got good tip-in, AE, and my VE tables are set up under atmo pressure before I start playing with under boost settings. :) Taking it slowly, yes, but ensuring everything is reliable to the max ;)

Hahhahaha, no.

p5150 and I have gone round and round a couple times now on the board over various things, and we finally decided to settle it the old fashioned way - a good old grudge race ;) Not thinking he's gonna show, though :(

Jon, don't get too happy yet - the car hasn't actually moved, just done a bunch of idling, while I get the tip-in setup :) Car's going to travel later today, though!
