update - I'm taking the flange into a machine shop in the next couple days to get an idea of the cost...I will let everybody know when I get the word.

Nope, I am far from dropping the engine back in my car. If there are questions about fitment, take a look at the difference in length of the intake runners (7m top, 2jz bottom) With the adapter installed, the side profile (looking into the tb side of the 2jz) is nearly identical as well.

Here is the update, I'm not making these. Due to the angles involved, it is way too expensive to have them machined, and I would never get rid of the number of castings I would have to have made to break even.

very nice and i think there would be a long list of people wanting to go ffim easily and cheaply. very nice!
