Well Funky and I stoped by last Friday afternoon becuase I had to check out the prototype and it looked freeking SWEET!!. I believe Greg wants to change a couple small details (Isc location, EGR port, ect.) but over all the FFIM looked like it is going to be bad ass. It will have a nice modified OEM look to it. Shit I think you Cail. boys will even pass inspection, because it will not look out of place at all. Well that is until you polish it to a mirror finish.

Sorry I totally forgot my camera in the car on Friday. I'm sure Jack will post them when he gets time. I know from stopping by on Friday that they are pretty busy right now with orders. In fact when we showed up Greg had 4 orders of turbo’s (just from the over night orders) to finish machining along with a pile of turbo elbows he was also working on.

The rapid prototyping is a great technology. It is spendy but much cheaper than tooling up just to test a part.

Its definitely looking great so far! With the changes that are underway, I can not see too many legitimate complaints about this product.

Not going to lie I am looking forward to selling my current FFIM once this thing hits market and purchasing one of these. The ease of use is going to be unparalleled by anything currently available.

Keep up the awesome work guys!

Jack: Is that TB going to clear a Mk3 hood?
(would have expected it to angle downwards that far forward)

That ones just a prototype Ian.:naughty: There are several things discussed when Rob and I went down there. That was one of them.

Yep it will have the webs, couple reasons..we like the looks and it will help when the FFIM is cast to allow the aluminum to flow better

My car comes in on monday and the install begins...and by god there will be pictures!

Will you be taking the rapid prototype to use as a cast to make a mold, to use to cast the aluminum?

Can't wait for pics...any chance I could give you a call sometime? I have a few somewhat related questions to ask :icon_bigg
