Thanks guys.

I may adapt a duct up to the front bumper for a little "ram air" action at a later date.

Stay tuned for a vid from the "drivers cam" ;)

EDIT: timecode is messed up on my tape :( gonna have to re-shoot it. I will have footage up tomorrow

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can criticize something. You look to be shroudly challenged just like me.

LOL, yes I am in fact missing the shroud. I have been debating what to do about and since I cant make up my mind I havent done anything. I am seriously considering dual electric fans from the ford contour on the stock mk3 rad, but I also know the mk2 rad is at the edge of it ability, so im considering a mk3 turbo rad and shroud. I cant afford new so it kind of comes down to what I can find used. Its been on my mind but on the back burner. Winter is coming and I wont need it this year anyway.

The mount seems to work great, but that noise is very annoying. The dog looks pretty comfortable in the passenger seat. If not for him, I'd say you should zoom the camera just a little.

Yeah, the noise is annoying enough that I wont be using the cam until I have a solution. I didnt really mess with framing or zoom. I just wanted to see what the picture looked like. I also needed to set it for Sea/snow setting, it reduces glare.

Ha I like how your dog is so chill when you pop the donuts!

yeah I watched her, her ears went up for a second, then right back down. She is an old hand at driving with me, and actually seems to enjoy it when I get a little squirelly :)

Nice job man. I'm envious of your interior work! On the external stuff, might try washing then polishing that gas tank. I also like to pull off the wheels and wash the suspension and inside the fenders.

Also, where did you get the mount? I'm trying to find something similar for track use.

yeah, being from the Nw you well know what winters are like here so no plans to clean up under the car much as I its still my DD. So far Im pretty sure its water tight so that my biggest concern this first winter with it.

I had an old trippod that was actually broken so I used the head off of it to make my mount.

I really have nothing to report this week except to say I did update the first post of the thread to include a "condition status" message and a total cost so far figure, as well as shortcut links to major sections of whats been done.

Im perfectly content now to drive the car as it sits for my DD and it will be getting a few more miles put on it this fall/winter as I go back to school. I probably wont be doing much updating to this thread from here on out for this reason, so thanks for coming along for the ride.

I sold this car a couple days ago. I was made an offer I could not refuse.

search terms on CL and autotrader do NOT include the word supra anymore. Its time for something different.

What's next Pete?

300ZX, MR2, SCX00, RX7, Alltrac, AWD Eclipse, VR4 are all terms showing up in my search windows. Despite their problems, the Z32 is pretty high on my list, but a 5spd sc300 would be fun to own as well.
