Ok many question but here it is.
The E85 is 105 Octane but be carefull. It likes to knok when its too rich or lean. The timing at 30psi is in 15-18 range.. The turbo hot side is .83 Tial V-band. Ijector Duty is 55% at the most... 1200cc can be an option at these numbers, but with cams and higher redline they might max out... You need peak and hold injector driver cause it doenst like to idle very good. New coils cause it has spark blowout and enough fuel line to feed it. I run dual -6 feed and -6 return. The plug gap was at .20 so new coils have to put in BTW it put those numbers MISSFIRING. The car feels outstanding Response is great jsut have to be aroung 4k when you get on it. The CDI is a concern but I have contacted AEM and Im geting replacement. Still some issues to work out but its all worth it.

And aggain Tym did outstanding job tuning it and geting me to aggre on that turbo. The regular 35 R has slower spool and 50 less flow.

CDI

only couple of companies that i would trust a motor to

M&W 4-8 cylinders option
Autronic R500
and perhaps the HKS DLI.

Way to many "giving the ghost up" on those CD2I to be comfortable around.

BTW. "regular" gt35r?

The Garrett GT35R (Garrett labels it GT3582R has three options for exhaust A/R.

.63
.82
1.02

the GT3571 is the journal bearing one. Is this the "normal" one you are reffering to?

Btw The map i have to talk to Tym and see if its ok by him but I have no problem posting it with the logs if you guys want to see them.

Everyone that I have talked to that doenst know much about this turbo has been sayin that a 35r is good for 500WHP but with this GT35R-HTA Buschur put 700WHP at 40psi in a EVO8 2.0L at Tym's shop. So its got more... =) The response is unbelivable.

Weight: ~18.00 pounds =) with the tial housing is more like 12-13lbs

Ive seen 1g DSM put down 600hp+ with a standard gt35r DBB turbo....Those cars were of course stroked to 2.3lt, cams, head work, 35psi+..etc

Nice numbers! I'm in the process of upgrading my fuel system on my 2jz to run E85 right now:
-044 external pump
-2L surge tank
-dual feed -6AN, -6AN return
-680cc Injectors with the Lex/SAFC upgrade on 7MGTE electronics

This is the 3rd car I've converted, E85 is great as a cheap high-octane fuel. Good to see more people taking advantage!

Wow very impressive numbers Well Done man !! :aigo: Still amazes me how a 2.5l engine can lay down that kinda power ,, even at my level it's still one hell of a rush . Keep pushing the limits, it keeps us wanting more :icon_bigg

Im working on a new Ignition coil setup The coils are cheaper and just as good if not better than the factory ones. I might post some pictures of them later on.

Damn nice setup!
Have video of the dyno?

Close to mine
My turbo setup to get ~50 more hp GT35/40R but it haves a 1.06 hotside. ATP turbo thinks with my rpm range I could hit it good and hard and get a little more HP.
I like my ATP turbo so far because it is the only one who sells GT35R with T4 foot print "Twin Scroll" or "Split Pulse" & DBB I am hopping this will offset the large hotside. To bad they dont make a .82 hotside.

For fuel I am using a single Aeromotive Eliminator fuel pump good for 1000hp carb 800hp forced induction efi.

Fuel is also -10 up to the Y adapter then comes out in (2) -8 duel feed into top feed rail with 750cc RC injectors. the center tap is -6 to aeromotive regulator.

Managment is Wolf 3d V500 firing & injecting sequentialy. I plan to use both of the stored map settings & next to all the inputs and outputs. http://wolfems.cart.net.au/details/635751.html

My target HP is ~650 at 30#s

Well hopefully not the mercury marine CDI coils ;) If they are you will fry the CD2I the first time those coils fire ;)

yeah they will run that power if the are new. when they crack and get old its a different story. At $90-150 PER COIL for a new one or $200 + for used junk its just not the best alternative. The coil kit that im working on is ~$300 for the set for brand new coils that are plug and play and proven at 40+ boost.. They use the factory toyota connector and mount on a custom aluminum plate on top of the valvecover. I might have some pictures to post later on. Look at the spark blowout thread on the SF.com.

Im running .20 gap on the plug and still have spark blowout at 30-32psi and cruise sucks.
