Ok, well im planning on getting the greddy e-manage very soon, Greddy says it can control two sub-injectors. Does anyone use subs on the 7m? Is it realiable/stable on the 7m?

there's no need for secondary injectors (sub-injectors) so you don't even have to think twice about using that feature.
Usually people uses AEM EMS or Stinger standalone on their custom/ swapped supra for full standalone.

as for fuel tuning .. SAFC II, NEO, Profec B, etc..

I use the E-manage ultimate on my SC maxima.

Its not a swapped car??? IM ASKING, instead of getting bigger more expensive injectors, couldnt you just add sub injectors???

not common practice. where would you add additional injectors anyways without modifying the fuel rail or the intake manifold. the cost of all that extra stuff is way more what the bigger injectors cost.

common practice = lexus afm + 550cc injectors

You can weld bungs on to the intake, or something like no more then 12 inches b/f the throttle bodie. and ofcourse it wouldnt http://www.rossmachineracing.com/dualinjassm.html + the cost of two decent injectors.

yah so you say non swap engine.....

let's break it down..

$99 + shipping for that kit
welding etc.. for the kit
Source of fuel to the secondary ? fuel return line ? fuel pressure regulator ?
2 RC injectors = $89 a piece
wiring to hook it up to the fuel computer ?

compared to getting bigger injectors ... $361 shipped for 6 550cc injectors in the oem fuel rail. No extra lines to run no headache.

#1- I can TIG, MIG, and OXY/ Fuel....no problem there huh!
#2-Fueling the two injectors would be fairly simple...tap into existing lines.
#3-Please give me the link to where you found $361.00 injectors!
#4- Please, spare me the intimidation wiring poses toward you.:biglaugh:

I come from a land down under
If you're tuned taking the staged injector into account and one fails you toast the motor as it's now lean enough to impersonate an oxy torch killing all 6, this for obvious reasons is a very bad thing.

Worse case scenario with larger injectors is one only partly fails leaving enough fuel supply to lean that cylinder out and replicate the above in one.
(been there done that)

If a large injector fails you drop that cylinder and the motor makes less power this is a slightly better thing.

well if you are running 6 x 1600 cc/min injectors... to add more fuel require more injectors as there are no injectors that are bigger than 1600cc/min.

Real useful for alternative fuel folks that run Methanol or E-85.

I have the GReddy sub injector holder with 8x GReddy 550s.

I'll try to get a picture of it later tonight. I might have to go through all my boxes again.

This is the GReddy +2 sub injector holder, I found out that it was actually a modified OEM pipe so it's not that amazing but it does work. The injectors have the rubberish sealer and then the metal ring to hold it on.

Very common in Japan !
That is why VPC ROMs larger than 550cc do not exist.
The Japanese will run 6 additional injectors on the lower manifold.
You do NOT need an additional fuel pressure regulator.
The additional injectors are fed off a line 'T'ed into your line feeding the fuel rail.

Two stock 440 injectors, feeding into the pipe in front of the throttle is equivilant to 6) 585cc injectors.
GReddy even sold modified pipes, that already had the 2 extra bungs welded in.
Six stock 440 injectors with your stock 440 injectors is the same as 6) 880cc injectors, or enough for MegaBoost !

The real sweat part of using additional injectors is that normal driving, they never come into play.
They are on a seperate circuit, that only comes on during boost conditions.
So they normally provide better mileage.

Those look like the counterfiet Lucas injectors.
Although that seller has name brand items, he is also selling chinese crap (Megan).
And unless you can find a way to contact Lucas, to verify this guy is selling the genuine artical, I wouldn't tough those with a 10 meter pole!
People think thet Venum injectors are bad, the chinese rip-offs are even worse!
