They do but not too many people seem to know about it. The PT cruiser GT is powered by the same engine with a different intake manifold.

Yeah they put it in the PT but they detune it first, I'm pretty sure they get like 220hp. The problem there is now you have a heavier car that has to be pulled by the front wheels, and you thought there were traction/torque steer problems before.
I'd like to see in a couple of years when the SRT4's start getting wrecked what kinds of cars the engine is dropped into. That's where things get interesting.
I agree...thats what I was thinking personally. Makes you wonder how cool it'd be in a Fiero or something...people have said it'd be cool in an Elise and I'm sure it would, but I think a 13B would be cooler in one..getting off topic..
