Seems like people derived from sweden make awesome car builders..... I daily drive an old volvo 740 and my mothers side of the family is almost full swedish/norwegian. Weird....

I´ve had so much work lately and no time for my Supras. I begin to wonder if they even come out this summer? :(

As usual, some new pics of stuff I gather.

Got some random 18" rims cheap, dont worry, they´re being sandblasted this week, chrome is gay.
8" front and 9.5" rear. Gonna paint them black!

You don't sandblast to remove chrome...

It´s not polished alu, it´s regular chrome, and as its harder than alu, its easy to get off too ;)

Dont worry, they guys doing it has done it before.

The proper way to remove it is the reverse of putting it on (i.e. electroplating). Any other way damages the base metal and isn't environmentaly friendly (chromium is extremely toxic)

I´ve had over 30 rims sandblasted before without any problems regarding base metal damage, sandblast doesn´t remove so much compared to grinding and polishing ;)

Also, the guys sandblast / paint trucks and heavy machinery all day long, I think their enviroment is as toxic as it can be!

Got something done this weekend :nono:

Painted the centerpiece between the new lights.
Servopump and fan etc found their way back, my new radiator (damn its FAT) is there and testmounted hood without problems.
Also polished the radiator together with the stainless steel holders I made, also the hood shocks got some polish :naughty:

I know, there´s stuff there that dont belong, but didnt have time to clean anything before i had to go home to get some sleep..
Gotta work on the throttlecable (any toyotas with same but longer?)
And mount the idlethingy, TPS to the new throttlebody etc
