I came to a realization today......here I am all "excited" about it getting to -2c tomorow, thats really sad....because it's still minus 2 celcius.......but my brain is viewing it as tropical since it's been like -28c here for a week.....not factoring in the windchill.

"Woohooo grab your swim trunks kids! Ya, that's right it's gonna be -2c tomorow! It's a party!!!!!!"

I'm convinced it's your speedsignal for the cruise system.

wohoo we got 0*c today, gonna go out and roll in the snow in my underwear!

Already got that one answered, it´s the sender to the economy light in the dash ;)

Also traded a set of 17" wheels to a friend who gave me something more useful (wheels were from a 200sx that I got tired of and sold a month ago)

Which build section would you like this moved to?

Member's Rides, which is more private and you have to be a member of the site to view, or The Supra Buildup/Gallery area which is in public view. Shoot me a PM with your choice and I'll move it where you wish. :)

Done, might have happened quicker if you'd actually asked though....

I did write to someone but cant remember who :D

Anyways, didnt get so much done today. Made an upper bracket between turbo and head just in case.

Also found all my IC piping that needs some welding when the FFIM is finished.
Found my new leather covers to armrest, handbrake and gearstick, had them for months but forgot about them.
Then I cleaned my garage, took me 5hours to sort that place out... :O

Actually I told all my friends I would cruise around town in December with the roof of but I started taking it apart..

I really have to try that, take a cruise when it´s -30*c targa off ;)

You wrote on Jdubs Wall, but I guess he hasn't been online for a while. Sent him PM myself, hopefully will get an answer :D

IIRC riding targa with windows up isn't much worse than with the roof on? So why not try -30 :D

I run my own company so I work there daily too, had 2 garages before but I did all work in this so had no use for the other one!

Time for Update!

Couldnt stand the raw aluminium so I grinded 1, then wetsanded and polished it.
Only had time to polish one round (4-5 usually does it) so ill continue tomorrow.

2 first pics show raw vs polished. It´s not mounted, only wanted to see it on action ;)

Well done... I've noticed that every car guy from your area of the world seems to be on the *really* nice end of things. I remember years ago, reading one thread from a fellow who decided his 3" exhaust wasn't big enough, and oval pipe was too expensive, so he cut his 3" in half lengthwise, and welded extra strips of metal down the length of it to make it 3 inches high by 5 inches wide. I can't even imagine how much work that would be!

haha your almost spot on, i´ve heard of those guys here too ;)

Actually I know a guy like that! :naughty:

The area I come from, which is Umeå in Sweden, a town in the middle / northern sweden, got alot of crazy builders. Dunno why but we all seem to have got stuck here.
We even got one of Swedens largest forums that involve car builds in this country!
(You can poke around here, used google translate: http://translate.google.com/transla...http://forum.savarturbo.se/viewforum.php?f=21)
About 100k residents here, and we got about 5 Dynos in this town :D
Many of Swedens fastest streetlegal cars come from here, ex:

Can you post a pic of the boss turbo front housing? it looks exactly like the "ITS" model I had that was destroyed in under 40 miles... had the same anodized backing plate and curiously long turbo shaft.
If in fact it is an ITS unit ships it out and have it balanced, mine came with a turbonetics core and mismatched bearings, But spun freely. Ended up having to buy basically a full turbo sans exhaust and compressor housing and swap everything over. I’d hate to see yours blow up too.

Smack my hairy balls!

It says ITS on the housing, i bought it from my friend and he got this turbo when he bought the car. Unused and shiny new, reciept said last owner paid 1600$ for it from Suprasport! Reciept said they had changed bearings to something else..

But i paid him about 250$ for it ;)
