You need to either upgrade to some stainless lines, or replace the oil heat warped rubber ones - most import are the rubber lines gonig to the turbo feed and the top of the valve covers. They look mighty brittle.

Jon, I can just use the old AN fitting's off those lines, and put them on the new braided lines?

Daaaamn Kyle!!!
That thing has come along way since I saw it last, looking hot!
A world of a difference that FFIM, IC, and hardpipes makes in the engine bay! You're making your way up there with the big dawgs, and I'm trailing faaar behind lol

We gotta have a meet again sometime soon...
You need to give me a ride :evil5:

Yea.. I need to get rid of all those goodyear hoses, clean up the wiring some more, and re-wire/re-route some stuff to make it look a little more presentable. Since there are no drag races for the next 3 weeks, now is the time to pull the turbo and get it rebuilt!

While it's down, I'll be installing a couple other things and just doing some general shit to make it look better!

I'll try to keep it updated with pics, but I only get the camera on saturdays sooooo

Hey Kyle,
Good meeting you this weekend. That thing is bad. Get some of the wiring cleaned up and some braided lines and you will be amazed at the difference in look! But it was good kicking it with you guys! Will look forward to cruising with you boys! Take it easy o and I will have some pictures of the wheels in a bit they look better on my car...lmao Of course any wheel looks better on your own car!

That wing kicks ass and you all know it.

Kyle - You can not use those fittings on steel braid. You can though, cut off the old rubber hose, and install new while reusing the fittings.

We're talking about his wang. :p

I must say, on ANY other MKIII, I've never been a fan of the MKIV wing on MKIII look...

But with this car, having the 315's, being black and riding behind it, you get the impression of a Delorean(sp) or...for lack of better words,

BATMOBILE! :naughty:

Kyle - So, are you still running the Monsoons or have you switched up wheels/tires as a whole (for the street)?

Also, you need to quit sleeping in so late and actually be awake one of these times when I stop by.
JEEZ.

It's official, Jon lied, he really did put the wing on, and the dorifto tail lights and side markers, I KNEW IT!

Yes you can. If you need any more fittings let me know the sizes as I have about 30 in my garage that I took off my car when I replaced them with new.

Duane - YOU CAN NOT. The fittings on the car are push lock style. For braided line, you need the screw lock style.

Just bought my VPC/550 CC chip....

Also, shipping turbo to JON.

Jon will be creating a new braided line for me for the freaking top feed oil line... and I'll take some pic's of the clean-up i've done to the engine bay!

Did some re-wireing today... I'm still trying to decide if I should go ahead and sand the bay down and try and clean it up myself... I'd hate to pull the whole engine but... I'm sure it wouldn't take too long.
