hehe....I got MT Wrinkle walls for free. :p

Came off of an 8 second Drag car. That automatically means I'm going to run faster.......:D

Good luck and make sure you keep some wideass tires on there. It looks soooooooooo tities from behind. :) It would be such a waste since the fenders have already been rolled out for 315's.

(395's would look great, IMHO. :runaway: )

My cat apparently scratched up the polish on my FFIM:icon_evil: so I'm going to try and buff it out... Lets hope it works accordingly.

Also, if anyone knows a local store I can pick up the throttle cable Ron uses in his write up... He hasn't replied back to me yet... And I need to get it for tomorrow!

I'm actually thinking of picking up some skinnies for the front.. As I see many of the people who take drag racing seriously have skinnies.. And since I can't afford to get any more tickets since I'm still on probation then...:nono: Drag racing is what I've gotta do. Atleast until the racing gets dropped to a lesser charge~

So...

Everything is installed.. Since the FFIM I bought had no provisions for cold start sensor or ISC, it took about 30 seconds to start up the first time cold after we put it all back together. I still have the front bumper off, and I'll take pic's tomorrow when I wake up.

I really need to work on wire tucking.. The whole main harness sitting on top of the runners is so damn ugly.. But as of right now I'm really not too worried about that type of stuff..

A bigger problem is not having an ISC... It seems to idle just a tad bit too high for my liking.. It sits at about 1500 completely warm; so I may go ahead and have the ISC provision made for this manifold since Ron lives so close.

Also, as with any type of custom work... There are unexpected things that get you caught up. We ran out of weld wire, then we ran out of u-bends so he had to do a little pie slice type piping, then we didn't have an intake gasket, then the alternator stripped out so we had to go buy a new nut/bolt combo. We couldn't get that damn wire onto the starter.. What a pain in the ass. Also, it's a pain to put this on in the car. I accidently scratched it twice trying to tighten the bolts down for the mani..

The turbo's outlet is a 2.75; since my overnighted coupler didn't come I had to buy one from some hot-rod shop and I get home tonight and the coupler is here...

But, I gotta give props to my friends.. They had some bangin girls lined up for the night and stayed with me and helped finish everything instead of ditching me to go get laid.. It's good to be single again and have a couple guy's I can really count on.

Also, I think I wired something up wrong since the safc says 100% throttle whenever i'm barely on it.. Not a problem since I needed to re-route the wires for a cleaner/better tuck.

lol, I'm pretty busy man.. If you see how much I'm on my phone as it is; I rarely have time to talk to half the people who call me.. If i answered my phone yesterday while working on the car I probably would never have finished.

Yes.. I know... NO pictures.. My dad stole the GD camera so I'm left without it.

Anyways, I was having a bit of starting problems but I got them all fixed.. Except one of my two electric fans isn't working now... Bugger!

Just need to do some soldering since I hardwired the CPS and the o2 sensor since they kept giving me codes.

Also, I need to figure out where to put my fuse box under the hood.. It looks like a pain to re-locate it since I'd have to extend the whole harness that goes into it...

Are you not able to turn it longways up against your fender where your part of your battery would sit?

I dont think you HAVE to extend the fusebox wires, but you definately will be doing a relocation...:icon_conf

You need to either upgrade to some stainless lines, or replace the oil heat warped rubber ones - most import are the rubber lines gonig to the turbo feed and the top of the valve covers. They look mighty brittle.
