Wow... That's required at your school? Talk about indoctrination.

Just wondering, but did they cover the massive increase of all violent crime in your nation after your government disarmed law abiding gun owners and put them at the mercy of criminals? How did they cover that topic? It would be interesting to hear the british side of it and how they are teaching it.

You should wake up form the fact that your government has lied to you over and over again but you are too ignorant to the fact that they could do it.

Dude. Please. Go read my posts, my writings. The last thing I trust is my government. I'm usually the first to go for their throats and that statement above makes you sound fairly stupid to anyone who knows what I am about.

Anytime you'd like to battle wits or education, I'll be glad to take you on, because you seem to have made ignorance and stupidity an art form.

There's something that the emotional tilting at windmills crowd misses often, and you seem to be victim as well. Just because they are a pack of lying shitbags does not make someone like Michael Moore accurate. He's the extreme on the other end, and just as full of shit and possibly more dangerous.

You clowns all seem to live by the motto the enemy of my enemy is always my friend. He's not...

91T - for you to presume to know anything about Tony Blair, other than soundbites, is plainly rediculous, so maybe you should read up on the fool before trying to tell ME, the person that lives here, what he's like.

So, let me get this straight.:aigo: You presume to be some sort of an expert, on our American president, but we Americans, don't know shit about your Prime Minister?! Am I missing something here?:icon_conf The absolute most brilliant leader Great Britain has ever had, was of course, Winston Churchill. I would have to say it'd be hard to top Margaret Thatcher, in my lifetime. However, Tony Blair, has been a true friend to this country, and it's President.:boink: ::salute:: I am not surprised you hate him, because it's pretty obivious you hate the U.S. and our outstanding president also.
Oh yeah, President Bush, holds a Masters degree in business...and flew one of the nations most advanced fighter jets( for that time period) during his service in the Air Guard. He also had better grades,:icon_surp and scored higher on his SAT's,:icon_surp than both John F...ing Kerry, and Algore.:eek:wned:
Now go have your tea and crumpet,:yum: :momaru: and think of another way you can let your anti-Americanism shine through!
P.S. Thanks f/ the neg rep.:bigthumb: Coming from you, I will wear it like a badge of honor!:biglaugh:

It really is unfortunate that Blair will be gone shortly...Once he's out, England is DONE. Wonder how long it'll take for Canada to seperate from the commonwealth once Britain starts turning their head every time a terror attack happens...

Eh, its not indoctrination - and were were using it as a basis for a debate.

Actually, the government stopped allowing handguns in 1948, recent gun legislation doesnt actually affect much, but after dunblaine - i cant blame them. Normal people shouldn't be allowed access to firearms. Criminals have them regardless anyway - to bring in guns to a populace unused to having them would be irresponsible. Also, the police force unanimously voted against routine arming - even if they want to carry tasers they have to be trained and licensed.

What part of - 'his next door neighbour' is taking over did you fail to understand? The labour government hasnt been voted out of office - Blair is stepping down due to the tremendous mountain of shit he's created.

Besides, when we vote labour out in the next election anyway, you'll see far better politicians than Teflon Tone. Not that you care, all you've seen/heard of him is soundbites - the flash veneer on the surface of an arsehole. I used to think 'you cant polish a turd' was true - but looking at the Labour Government and Tony Blair - guess that doesnt hold true anymore.

I never once said i was an expert of any kind. From the way he's conducted himself in the international arena - it's easy to make judgements on him. From your own news programmes, such as ABC news, it's clear that not everyone in the US likes what he's doing either.

Also, i never said anything about hating the US either - thats again, presumption on your part - if i hated the US, why would i have friends there, why would i have had an american girlfriend and why would i be on these forums if that were the case?

Margaret Thatcher polarised the UK in some aspects, although she had policing at the top of her agenda, which was the right thing to do. The Falklands was also the right thing to do, however, there are some issues that you may not be aware of, such as the introduction of 'Poll Tax', which is still talked about even now as being a baaaaad idea. :3d_frown:

If Tony Blair is a friend to your country - then like i said, keep him - WE dont want him because of his brown nosing or his dictatorial style of government. The sooner he goes, the better. Even his 2nd in command will do a better job, but only because he's a tight fisted scot.

Scoring higher on test scores also does not denote intelligence or ability to lead a country. Neville chamberlain was more intelligent academically than the aforementioned Winston Churchill, yet Churchill made a better leader. Think about that.

As for the tea and crumpet statement - well, thats generalisation if i ever saw it - which would prompt me to say something along the lines of 'keep expanding your gut you bloated imperialist' but i wont.
