I theorized in another thread that the jihadis in Iraq were ramping up attacks because they wanted to sway the election for the dems. Normally i dont get involved in politics stuff, but stuff like this sends me into a seething rage. Stupidity and blind support for ones president are not good traits for the american people. Why do you feel it so necessary to follow such a complete RETARD such as George Bush, even if you dont like the guy or agree with any of his policies?

No, if the terrorists are happy it means they are TERRORIZING people. They admit that an American pullout from Iraq will embolden the jihadis to fight harder and thus we are LESS safe from them. Nice to see such a productive attitude. Voting for the opposition does not in ANY way mean that you're stabbing anyone in the back - it means that you disagree with someones opinion. Currently, your behaviour indicates that if you dont like what someone has to say, they're wrong, irrespective of their views or arguments, reasoned or otherwise. If *you* want to vote in a republican, go right ahead, but theres NO reason to chastise someone for wanting to vote democrat if they so choose.

common citizens in Iraq have become terrorists because we are seen as invaders. if another country occupied your backyard, i'm sure you would want to get revenge, also. point being, if we develop strong foreign relations, we will have created an entirely new form of security from terrorism.

did anyone see that huge study in USA Today about Iraq? like 70% of people there were upset with our prescence. it was a pretty interesting study.

I believe that American's know relatively little about the state of European government.
I believe that citizens of Europe know more about American government than we know about theirs.
