Never would even think about doing pizza delivery, regardless of being in school or not. If a company wants things delivered, they should damn well be providing the vehicle. Up here, where 87 octane costs $4/gallon on a good day...Good luck paying your car insurance each month living at home, let alone actual bills

I doubt a lot of 45 year olds would.....

Maybe... My dad's 47 and he does...

But you're quite young for a 45 year old....

PLUS everything down there is like, upside down... so you're more like... 23 right?

I do pay taxes, but the store I work for is cool so they only have us claim the tips we get on credit. The store charges $1.95 per delivery, and the driver gets $1 of that. I put about 80 miles a shift on my Geo, which with as hard as I drive my car (~30-35 MPG) I still only spend about $8 in gas a shift. As for wear and tear, tires are only $35 each, my spark plugs, tires, brakes (rotors and pads), wheel bearing and hub are all new. I have a new timing belt waiting to go on, but I don't want to do it myself for fear of fucking it up (been told it's easy to do).

Lastly, as far as parts is concerned, my soon-to-be step-dad works at a parts warehouse, and he has several friends who own parts stores (I don't pay retail for parts anymore). Besides, I got a good quality Geo for only $1200, I'm not worried about wear and tear.
