You forgot terribly unreliable, and parts are impossible to get for that chassis, and that gen of 3sGTE.

I've never heard any complaints about reliability on the alltrac forums. Parts are not impossible to get, infact most parts especially engine related are interchangeable. That and most parts from the same year FWD Celica's will work as well.

OK! i realized i spelled pole wrong. I did indeed used to have an MR2 spyder...but i traded it in. It was not working because at that time i was running a painting business...needed the room/seats, and didnt want to go putting tons of miles going around doing estimates and stuff. Plus the insurance SUCKED. Now im just a regular working A hole like everyone else, and i have a second car with a trunk if need be(first now, but will get bumped) And I never want to make payments again, not till i can really afford it

Yeah... those guys on that forum seem to be too proud of their cars to complain about reliability. I have personally dealt with 2 st165's and 1 st185, and they are some of the most unreliable cars to own. and try to find stuff like dipstick guides and shit for the st165. Not interchangeable, no longer made, impossible to find etc...

Eh - friend of mine has one of those 165's - never had any problems...maybe the US market ones were built badly?
