Correct, there is a clear coat of some sort.

I will say cleaning them sucks, lol. I need to get another tooth brush to clean them nicely.

Are you sure? The MK3 single piston brakes look smaller compared to the stock SC 2 piston calipers... Rotors look about the same size. The early SC300 has 15" wheels fitting over those brakes. Just an observation.

It was like a 2000 Grand Marquis I got these wheels from... they are the same as crown vic, just they are KNOWN as crown vic wheels, lol.
