They actually lookg really really nice! What are you giong to use for center caps? They seem to weigh a bit more then stock, makes me think if I want to keep my MK4 wheels.

Not sure on center caps. I can probably get some machined that are flat vs. the stock very tall ones. I was going to ride without them for now.

25.2lbs? Seems kinda high, I was actually surprised how light they were. I will weigh them soon.

I just picked up the other 2 wheels... came with tires, but I am going to swap them out. They are just too tall, lol.

that was taken from my wheel database i've collected over the years. i havent weighed them myself, but that seems reasonable given the size and design. i'm sure there are some slight variations, but gives a ballpark idea anyway.

Can you get some pics of how the center caps attach? I saw them in person today in walmart and they look pretty damn good except for the caps. What material are the caps made of?

I see I'm not the only one that wanted to do this but you know 3rd gen trans am gta meshes are 16x8? not sure of offset but when painted black look beautiful and would look great on a mkiii

My uncle has a pair that are gold, never thought about it, but I'm gonna go dig them up and check the offset.

they are 97-02 and the pattern is exactly the same, 114.3mm=4.5in.

ive got a brand new set of 235/55/16s that are on it now that i think shouldnt look too bad. they fill the wheel well nicely

Are those sizes going to be a little large on the tire size?

btw, I did a bad photoshop job with different colors on my car.

well they are on it now and arent too bad, ive still got a good 2-3in of clearance in the front, they just look really wide

i think these are 225/60/16 snow tires on the rear and they clear alright... looks like im lifted, but michigan winters suck so its worth it being ugly for a few months
