Cressida front end? MEH.

I think the soapra is bad ass.
I'm used to looking at supras so it's hard not to see it as just a strange supra, but if you look at it as it's own car I think it's very good looking.

In fact, I may make this out of my next car, a 95 Supra, but with a pre89 front...
LMK when you do that.

well, he's picking up an 89 cressida for nothing because the motor's screwed and we're thinking about attempting this on one of our parts cars for the hell of it...

...if the front end is too long I can use half of a stock fender and graft the two of them together. I don't know, I'll just have to check it out.

I do, however, love the soapra concept, and I think that car is beautiful.
Just put a GTE in the Cressy body. Depending on the year it's lighter than a Supra, the GTE bolts right in, and it makes a KILLER sleeper.

MKIII front on the MKIV just doesn't flow. It's what happens when a box gets sucked into a whirlpool of newschool, bubbly doom.

I don't think it would look good at all. The bumpers on the Cressida would completely kill the look on the Supra. Supras look good the way they are. And that Soapra is super nice, been awhile since I've seen an updated picture of it.

Keep the Cressida and turn it into a sleeper.

It must be the years I spent in Japan looking at cars that don't exist over here... but that conjures up "good"/"bad" attitude for me. Not so much an assessment of the "techical merits" and "execution" of the job... but an "emotional" fancy that titilates a deep and wanton urge for JDM rods.

On the other hand, I like my "sleeper" look supra pretty "plain", as well.

That is a SWEET looking car, anyways...

I'm more likely one day to photoshop the pre89 front to a MkIV than I am to actually bastardize a perfectly good MkIV front, even though its the only part of the car that looks a tad off.

Accord/Supra thing was on AutoTrader once IIRC, I cant remember where I saw it but I saved the pics.

Sounds like people dislike the idea of MkIII front on MkIV. I think its unique though I'll obviously have to shoop it a few times to make sure...I just love the MkIII front so damn much, I cant get enough of it..

Also, its to get back at the 2J swaps into MkIIIs. I dont care if its a "better" engine, I love me some 7M.
