^ lol...

Colin, other than the constant tension clamps on the coolant filter every clamp on that engine is original. In fact nearly everything you see on that engine is original. It's why I was a little pissed about busting the fan.

ViR2: Ya, it filter good....

For that kind of mileage, I'm VERY impressed with the cleanliness, then.

lol, sry, I'm a bit tipsy :D
Is there any use of it in cooling system? There are no "dangerous" deposits/debris or what ever what could harm the engine.
Well, OK radiator could get clogged by time, but thats a different story ;)

I knew it. Now 3p is going to go over my engine with his evil eye. Damn engineers ;)

It's a MotorGuard bypass filter. Smaller evap canister located below. Before you nail me on the EGR it's off for a valve repair. Leaking at the pintle shaft. I'll get to it. No way I'm gonna pay Toyota's price for a new one.

Colin: Every light bulb in the car other than the heads and fogs is original. I can't figure that one out. 139K total on the chassis, 35K on the engine. I no longer fuss with the car much these days but being the original owner I never let things get out of hand.

ViR2: Read my other post. There's crap in every cooling system. Doesn't matter for most people but when you intend to keep a car 25 years it's helps to be anal about fluids.
