well, i did it the long way to get both drives formatted. it's running a bit choppy though cuz i'm still in the middle of installing drivers and whatnot. I'm hoping everything goes well with this thing. I'm gonna let Phoenix6 take a run through on my comp on Thursday to make sure everything's running like a top.

if you removed the heatsink from the socket there, you're probably going to want to get some more goop on there or it may overheat

how do you guys remove thermal compounds from your CPU? rubbing alcohol, acetone, etc?

I used peroxide and a cloth.

um i always preferred to use a lint free cloth dabbed in rubbing alcohol...always seemed to do the job with out any problems.. and when u put the paste back DONT GET FUCINKG OVERZEALOUS>>>lol some people put the whole tube on there. well dont. just read the directons on the package its really simple.
