Less squeak, and less maintenance, that's my guess. I'm goin the same route with mine, the new bushings will be a MASSIVE improvement over the 20+ year old stuff, without needing to constantly grease them.

Wrong suspension type. You have coil over shocks, short-long arm suspension. It has eccentric bolts to make the adjustments. Camber plates move a strut around on the top because there is no adjustment on the bottom. So right, you don't need it.
