Not something you want just for the looks.

Glad to see a Columbus boy is making progress.

If that what you call it, matt...but yea, I'm rather anxious to get this baby together but want to do it right the first time if I can help it. I'm seriously considering a FFIM and bigger intercooler, GT35, 550's and either SAFC II or mafpro, divorce downpipe is a must, either open downpipe or 3"(maybe 4") turboback with no muffler. Still waiting on the ProSport gauges from MDC, AEM wideband from Idealsupra, new HIDs bulbs from CKanderson, and the damn rebate check.

Caleb, Matt was referring to your "Cosmetic" headgasket. :biglaugh:

It's Cometic. Not Cosmetic.

If you go 4" back, you better AT LEAST have a muffler on that pig or you'll be sharing roadside with every Columbus PD & State Trooper in Indiana.

3" back with no muffler is doable. Still extremely loud...But doable.
4" with no muffler is just obnoxiously loud. Ask Jon and myself. :biglaugh:

...my motor should hopefully be in by next weekend...maybe. This means I'm gonna have a long week ahead of me. On other updates, I'm still figuring out if I want to go FFIM or the standard over the head setup, also choosing between a 57 trim ct26, gt35, or a pt67. Any thoughts?

Caleb, First off...Going from an upgraded CT to a GT35 to a PT67 is a WIDE range of power and all 3 will create three COMPLETELY different beasts.

Sounds like you're not sure what you want with this car...

Also...You think 4" with no muffler wouldn't be very loud? ..............................lol.

Sure, 4" on a diesel isn't CRAZY LOUD...But take that diesel with 4" and take her up to 7,000rpms. Whole nother story, my friend.

I really don't think you realize how loud a straight 4" exhaust is on a Supra...
Armando. Get your car running so you can show this guy how loud it is WITH a muffler. :nono:

You may be on to something here, I'm debating on whether I want to keep the 4.30 rear end, if I do it's probably gonna be a 57 trim or maybe the gt35...if I swap in a 3.73 or 3.93, it probably be either a gt35 or the pt67.

You may have a point there...
