Over time, 7 months my battery is getting weaker. Sometimes when I attempt to start after sitting a week or longer, I just get a click. A jump will usually fire it right up. However, sometimes if I just try it a bunch of time it will fire up. It cranks really fast, as if the battery is not low at all. Even after driving it for 30 mins then sit for a couple minutes it will just click. If I try it 10-15 times it will start cranking and fire up. I have checked for loose wires and cant find any. It either just clicks, or cranks right up, nothing in between. The only thing that has made a difference is when I put a new battery in it 7 mo. ago it was fine for a few months. The last battery had good voltage but the auto parts store said cc amps were too low. Does this mean something is pulling on the battery when it is sitting? Or maybe some weak wiring?

Sounds like the contacts inside the starter.

Does nothing, stock already has a relay...
