Nice clean car man. Looks like mine. I have maroon interior too with silver exterior and that maroon pin stripe. Mine is a non turbo. I also have a huge stack of maintence/warranty papers about 5 inches tall as well. I bought my car for 400. Not running. It needed a full tune up and main and rod bearings. I got it done and it runs like a new car. Mine is as clean as yours =p nice find though man and good luck.

Did a bunch more work today in the mean time while im waiting for bearings to show up. They were shipped out today so Im hoping they will be here within the next 2 weeks at the most.

Ported up the exhaust manifold to turo flange, smoothed out any sharp turn radius' and rough spots that I could reach with the cutter. Medium polish on the surface of the exhaust mani.

Polished up the intake a little bit, got a little shine out of it but its not too blingin'

Recieved the clutch from driftmotion. Stage 3 clutch from action with upgraded 3200lbs pressure plate and 6 puck sprung disk. Havent seen anyone on SM who runs one. I will deffinetly see what this baby can do and test it to its limit.

Started a few other things I didnt take pictures of yet such as removal and repainting of minor surface rust on the bottom lip of the rear quarters before they actually get bad. The best part yet is putting night shade on my tails, really curious on how this they will turn out. :)

Ooooh, and i definetly agree with supra28, black would be a perfect color. The days of candy colored engine bays seem to be disappearing (hopefully!)

Thanks for the comments guys! I almost forgot about his thread, its been so long since I could do anything with the supra. :(

Finally started putting the engine together on friday once I recieved the final correct SOB of a bearing. Took 2.5 months to get them all!! Thats also including getting wrong bearings and what not. This is the culprit..

BTW did u fixed the water pump pulley is facing the wrong way........nice build ;)

Really it was on wrong :sarcasm: could explain why I had to use a hammer and JB weld to get that fan on ;)

Made some more progress tonight. :)

Hooked up all the wiring throughout the engine bay and inside the passenger compartment, installed alti, oil cooler lines, rad, pullies, belts and so on.

Took a couple attempts to get her started due to the CPS being 180 degrees out, doh! but all is well and got her going tonight. Big thanks to timmy again for all the help! Was glad didnt run into any leaks or big problems today.

Just need to install shifter, torque down driveshaft, put passenger side dash back together, put a timing light on her and a couple other little things. This will do tommorow once again after work. I sear these 14 hour days are going to catch up to me soon here haha. Hoping insure this baby on friday and go for the maiden voyage!

I have a little video timmy took after she was all warmed up and checked over! ;D
