Welp, Fellas. I am officially moved into the new house...

And I'm dealing with AT&T (SBC Yahoo) because a few weeks back when I went to transfer the account to the new house, I paid for DSL, Phone Line & Satellite...killing 3 birds w/ 1 stone (going all through AT&T). Well, turns out, after speaking with 5 different employees, DSL ISN'T EVEN AVAILABLE where I live which is BARELY out of the city...so I won't be getting on very much at all. Driving today, and again, my bolt comes loose and falls out of the caliper again, so I'm going to have to go to Toyota to order a bolt that is EXACTLY the same size as the other because apparently any other length or such doesn't work. :icon_conf, Eh, Whatever. I'm stressing out bad over a lot of things right now...:nono:

Anyone have some spare 440's sitting around that I can have/use/buy for CHEAP. Mark my words, be a good friend & be in my shoes when I say CHEAP...

And, Jon, Queen size is too small. I'm going to have to pass the offer...

the weather forecast is getting better and better! friday isolated showers 60% to 40% to now 30% i really hope it continues this trend. sat and sun have gone from 40% to 20% which is good too.

In regards to the dyno - Is prepay required for sure? I want to dyno, but until I know the tranny is going to work / stay together I have a had time plunking down $50... Can I buy an open slot at the meet? :1zhelp:

If I want to drive in from Rockford for the cruise, where are we meeting and when? Schedule doesn't really give any time/place info.

Current update: New tranny is in. Thanks "boost pssh boost" for hooking me up on the parts.

i'll put this here for more visibility:

as far as the carpool, i think we need to do a couple things. we need to get a list of everyone's cell number in case they have any problems or late getting there or what have you. that way we arent waiting on someone for 45min that isnt gonna be able to make it.
secondly, i have found it to be easier if we also list a departure time as well. that way people will know how late we will be there and again, not waiting on someone forever.

just a couple suggestions.

My cell is 815-222-6654. I'm going to be commuting from Rockford (home) to Chicago each day is I could really do with knowing time & place to meet for Thursday's cruise.

Oh yeah, tranny is in and the car drives "OK". Syncos on 2nd & 3rd are shady but hopefully will straighten out after a few miles on fresh Mobil1. The crappy news is that the clutch slips now which also, hopefully, will seat in after a few more miles. :3d_frown: At least I'll be at the meet (knock on wood). :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

I hope they shape up after a few miles, I know it was 100% solid when I pulled it... I'm gonna feel shitty if I sold you a bad trans, even if it was good when I used it.


I NEED NEED NEED another stock turbo, my seals are gone....BOV is spewing oil all over my nice clean engine bay. :aigo: I probably have 1/2 a quart in the IC. I have lots of parts I could trade..89+ bumper, oil pans, gte block...

I'll give it some miles/time. I've put about 40 miles on it so far. You'll have to drive it @ CHI2k6. Tell me if it feels the same. I filled it with Mobil1 75W90, which you said was in it before. I was thinking about switching to Redline MT90 Thursday morning. I think it's solid enough to get through the meet. 1st -> 2nd gear shift is somewhat difficult under pressure. 2nd -> 3rd gear has a little grind.

I'm a bit surprized that Gixxer and my first set of tranny parts appear to be MIA. I'm also giving that a bit of time, but wish I had a second tranny at this point.
