Here is the updated info as per Chris's post on SF. He is one of the many hands in this event.

Chicago Cruise
We figure most will want to come in during the day so the cruise will be arranged for early afternoon to evening and I'll prepare a nice list of hotspots for dinner, clubs, etc..

Drag Day 8/11/06
We are going to be using Great Lakes Dragway in Union Grove WI. That is about 40-50 miles straight up north. We will have the track rented for this meet from 1-5pm and then we can stay there for no additional charge until 11pm for Test and Tune night which starts at 5pm.
Price to race is approximately $35-$40 depending on how many racers we can get.
I'm going to revive my Drag post in the General Forum to continue getting interest. We're going to be setting up a paypal account for the event to cover drag day entry fees and for dinner, which brings me to Saturday's agenda.
More info to come on classes, payouts, etc..

Dyno location is being determined now. We're trying to work this out for it to happen at SP, but are looking at other alternatives if needed. More info coming shortly on location.
Dinner will be at Dave and Busters in Addison.

This is an all Toyota meet with Supra's having their own section.
If anyone has any questions in the meantime please feel free to contact myself or Nelson. We'll be putting together all the necessary maps, hotel, etc.. info over the next week or so.

Thanks for everyone patience and we're working on making this a great event as it continues to grow. We don't mind being sloppy seconds to TX but this also gives others an option if they were not able to attend.

Got the black 87T running..so as long as we find an auto dipstick and get the fluid topped off so it can move by august, I'm there...hah. Took me a week to figure out that the coilpacks themselves were shot, even though we got spark at all the plugs.

Ok guys, its that time! Need to know who is 100% for sure going and who is staying where.

Jason and I will be leaving Westport, IN sometime between 7-9 am on Friday if anyone will be coming through there around that time (think 74 west and 65 north)
As for where we are staying, I have no freaking idea. Somebody call da sleeps inn! I'm assuming there isn't a "hotel" like in previous years?

my car is so close to being done but I just don't know. there's still so much small and tedious things to do.
My car "SHOULD" be done hopefully. when i get excited, i find other things i have to do to the car . but its well worth it

Our usualy Thursday nights here consist of a local cruise and a pretty large car gathering in about 10 different locations, so there is something for everyone You can either hit up a great restaurant, car show, club, or the bed!
