lol, kinda confused why.. but idc really.. either way this makes it more searchble i belive..

any ways, looks like atleast two of us might try this kit out..

i actualy think i will have good results. but i dont think i'll have high power out achivements.
which is fine, like i said it's going into a light shell and i might lincon-lock the rear end up and just drift the bojesus out of her :biglaugh:

i have also been talking with a friend who owns an 82 L-type and where thinking about putting the 82 front clip on the celica.. with a 7mgte as a powerplant would be sick., then swaping the clean supra interier into the celica..

any ways, should be a fun summer !

I know its kind of a dead topic but I had some new info on this set. I ordered the oil pump from this company. It came in lsat night and I thought I would pass along that the pump is indeed a turbo pump and on top of that it is actually a factory Toyota pump! How do I know its a Toyota pump? Because it says "Toyota" and "AISIN" right in the casting. For some reason the word toyota was partially ground off but you can plainly see the T*Y*TA.

This bodes well for the other parts and I went ahead and ordered the whole set. I will report on the rest of the parts if anyone wants this info.

Those are the pistons I bought for a cheap rebuild- Don't have them in yet, so I can't say about them.
PS- The top is anodized. Don't know how well it holds up, but I was reading on a couple of sites that some manufacturers do this to reduce the effects of detonation. I guess it reduces some of the heat transfer to the piston top.

Its a thermal coating like the stock genuine toyota pistons.

I ordered a set of these pistons. I'll report back, but so far I think Pimp hit the nail on the head with the rebadged toyota parts.

The treatment "looks" like the toyota but I'll compare em to my stockers when they arrive.
