(Insert as many profanities as you can think of here)

I broke a flippin bolt off in the chassis on the top door hinge. So I said screw it and took off the door cuz I was mad. So I'm getting another door. That mo fugga was heavy. Now I know why the hinges just say fuck it and give in to the weight of it and sag. So now, I have to e-z out it.

I also called the dealership because I was curious as to how much brand new tail lights were from a 1990 Supra. $208 each.:aigo::aigo: I might buy them. It depends if i can find a set of mint ones someone wants to sell me sometime in the future. If not, I'm buyin new. Cant go wrong with brand new parts.

Next parts to get - LIPP High Flow Fuel Rail and another drivers side door.

Fuel rail will be here next week if I order it on Sat. which I most likely will.

Well, I decided to use my day off from work and school, (thank you to the very weak storm, Ernesto) to go work on my car. I was trying to find out exactly what happened to the motor and why it blew. Up until today I was having trouble getting the head off. I feel like an idiot now because I forgot to disconnect the hardlines on the fuel rail. After that it came right off.

I found this in one of the cylinders. An exhaust valve head snapped off.

I also bought the LIPP High Flow Fuel Rail last week.

And one last pic, this is when I got mad and took off my door. New type of lambo door, lol.

Upon closer inspection, I found more damage. The piston cracked just above the ring.

Notice a valve head missing? Lol.

Spent from 7-9:30 pretty much preparing to pull the engine. I assembled the engine hoist, tried to drain the tranny (no fluid in it whatsoever), unhooked the power steering line, unhooked the a/c lines, and took off the driveshaft (which is for sale). I drank a half gallon of water and my friend drank a 2L bottle of Sprite. Thats what happens when you work in a warehouse with no A/C in Florida.

Im tired after all that. It was relatively easy after everything was disconnected. I had problems with the fan clutch and the A/C compressor. They were hitting the upper tie rod so I had to push them back as much as I could with a stick. The motor and transmission are heavy as hells.

Well not much to update. Except for a few things I've been pondering. I'm probably going to junk the body (believe me, it's a lost cause), keep some of the interior, buy a new engine, work on the engine for a while, and when its done, I'll buy another straight chassis. The mods I have so far is the Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator, LIPP High Flow Fuel Rail, and now the Fidanza Cam Gears. I've been working like hell and saving money. So it will all come at once. I will post updates as I get upgrades. Thanks for the bump.
