They retard, iirc. But to set the timing marks, crank needs to be at zero.

Ok, i fixed the timing, it was off for sure. now it cranks over real strong, still doesnt run.

the injectors will not fire ever.

i put gas right into the intake and it idles just fine for about 5 seconds. soon as it runs out, it dies.

SO, whats the deal????? ah help

I didnt feel like reading through everything, but if your injectors wont fire, go from their.

Is thier power to them? Is the wiring good? Filter New? Pump working? Lines clear? Check your fuel system.

If you have power to the injectors, then you have a fuel problem ( I think, may not be that simple). If you pull your line off and put your key in, turn it, and it sprays fuel everywhere, you have a electronic problem :biglaugh:

Ive done all that. its purely injectors wont fire. fuel, spark and timing are good. thanks for telling my i have an electronic problem, now i know exactly where to start.
