"I just bought 5 quarts of Royal Purple and a K&N Oil Filter for it but dont have time to do an oil change so thats included also"

A little advice i have for you, absolutely do not put this in your listing. These cars are extremely sensitive when it comes to oil... obviously you worded it wrong, but still.

A simple "I have 5 quarts of Royal purple and a K&N filter that ill also include."

LOL.. I just saw this thread now.

Sell the supra, please. We don't need owners like you on the boards.

A ban is in order for this kid.

There. Fixed that for you. Don't talk about my car like that...It is very reliable, As well as many others.

And I don't see what the big fuss is about with checking your codes???
It. Is. Not. Hard. VERY simple thing. It does NOT require two people.

Oh, I understand how he feels. I've been there countless times. It really is terrible...but something as minor as checking the codes is just so simple...and while doing this, could completely fix the problem (assuming it tells him what is wrong).

Lol, I drove my N/A from 186-201 thousand miles and I didnt have to touch under the hood, even though I did anyway. All you have to do is keep the motor happy and it will be good to you.

If your not going to sell the car i would also get that tps wiring fixed. And about the tach thing, My tach moves a little when the motor cranks. If the cps wires are loose, the tach does not move when it cranks. I dont know exactly whats going on, but that happened to me at least 10 times so im speaking from experience, and im 100% positive it was the cps connector. The car would not want to start when cold, and the tach didnt move when i cranked it, and it basically ran like shit untill above 1k rpms. But I also did the diagnostic part right lol. I got a code 12 and 14 I believe, which is coils and cps. Also can someone do me a big favor, what color wire on the cps goes with what color wire on the harness? Just make like a little chart if someone has time...thanks.

You never said that before. I assumed the main reason you were selling the car, was because you couldn't figure out how to check the codes, and were frustrated, which is ridiculous. I think you should reconsider. You have one post about how you "might" be getting rid of it, and in the like the next post, it's already up for sale...that's not enough time to make a descision like that, IMO of course.

well this was after talking to my dad about it. He said if I get a reliable car and keep a job for a while he would buy me a newer car. He said this car would just be big bucks in the long run and yea, its a fun car but its old and it is going to break on me. So I was persuaded to sell it and here I am now. I might be getting a nissan maxima with a new motor and is a 5 speed as a temp car.

waht do you guys think? http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/car/241930723.html

PLEASE NO MORE BASHING ME FOR GETTING RID OF MY SUPRA!!!!

There is no need to competely "re-wire" the CPS, I tried to do it, and I ended up totally destrying the CPS, there are tightly wound copper "pick-up" coils inside, and the wires are soldered to that directly, and then covered in plastic...very difficult to replace, if not impossible, you would have to leave some of the wire coming out of the pick-up, and try to solder a new wire on, with very little room to work, not to mention, you have to get the colors right, or it will be a nightmare later on to reconnect it to the harness...then you have to worry about crimping new Toyota connectors on the ends of those wires, which are about $8 each, IIRC...don't do it, it isn't worth it... the wires inside it are likely fine...it's the connector that's the problem, try hard-wiring the connector to the harness, and if that doesn't work, then do what you want.
