There ya go! And what are you doing when trying to check codes? Are you using a paper clip? The ends of the paper clip have to be bent into position so that they are aligned with the correct terminals on the diag. block. Push the ends of the paper clip into the terminals, pushing the ends to the left and down into each terminal...it's kinda hard to explain...in each terminal, there is a piece of metal that is visible, push the end of the paper clip into the terminal slightly to the left of the piece of visible metal...that's the best I can explain...and it's late...lol.

I have spares of nearly every wear part for the 7m, i usually share them with the locals if they need to diagnose simply by replacing or ill sometimes sell them for a decent price. I think the only things i dont have is a spare ignitor and afm.

2 Winters in a row now, My car ran (as a daily driver) without the Cold Start Injector hooked up...started smoothly everytime...and all with temperatures as low as -10*F.

That paper clip you're using looks too big. Don't you have a smaller paper clip? I hope you didn't bend the terminals too badly. I use a piece of solid core wire, and it makes it much easier...hold on, I'll go get a pic of it.

*sigh* I remember the old days of trying to get my custom bent paper clip into the diag box and then checking my codes...

BUT...Life has become much easier for me now that I learned how to use my Super Monitor. :D

Selz, those diagrams are cool....but the one marked egr vsv is actually the modulator, the egr vsv is under the intake with the fp up vsv.

Well I tried with a smaller wire this time and it was uneventful. I may need someone to come out and look at it or if i Do get it started i will get whatever needs to be fixed and possibly get rid of it :(

The Supra is testing you. And if you can't handle checking codes, then you should get rid of it.
