If it was as good as it seems, 9K wouldn't be that bad, but I've seen that exact picture of that red '92 on ebay for quite some time. That must the the picture of it's good side or something because it never sells and just gets relisted.

must have been a serious accident for it to get a salvage title.

not really...it only has to be enough damage that the insurance company will total it out to save money on repairs which is VERY easy to do with these 20 year old cars that are worth 3K to most insurance companies.

value for this car is 8750 retail

you would be surprised what would total a car. an engine fire would do it easily, not nec just body damage.

regardless, like i said i wouldnt pay 9k for it. but its not insane for what it is.

Looks good to me. I'd pay 9 grand for it.

Sure as hell beats restoring one.

Like the man just said^and 48k miles!!! I don't give shit if it's a salvaged title, not with those kind of miles. Unfortunately, the timing is not right for me to scoop it up, but otherwise I'd be a serious player for that car.

As long as it checks out, (with respect to the repair) it's totally worth it.

48k on a 92? Even with a salvage title... I can easily believe it.

Joe: Personally I pay much much less for modded cars...

Ok, but it's not like there are any JZ cars from the factory here. The increase in value due to the swap is justified. Swapped JZ cars are not the same as shopping for a close to stock factory 7M Supra. I wasn't looking to buy a stock Supra. If it was, I wouldn't have bought it.
