So basically. i ordered a boost controller a few weeks ago for $100 and when it arrived i had to pay an extra $55 COD for brokerage fees?? wtf

so i brushed that aside..
i ordered an intake adapter for $15 and i told the guy to ship with usps because ups is bs and i told him about the above story of wat happened to me.. what happened? he shipped with ups  because usps was too far and it wouldnt be worth it.. i was willing to pay a little extra..anyway.. i was thinking.. ok $15 w.e cant be more then $15 in brokerage fees so it aint bad.. i got the item.. COD was $55 again!!!!! wtf!!! MORE THEN TRIPLE OF WHAT THE ITEM WAS WORTH.. thats fucken bs..
and i couldnt refuse because i had it shipped to my friend's house because i live in an apartment and have idiot landlords... and my friend didnt know and just paid for it anyway... so now i owe him $55.
FUCK UPS!!!!!!!!

for everyone here.. if you are shipping to canada.. DO NOT SHIP WITH UPS... use USPS especially if the buyer requests..:3d_frown:

Even shipping inside canada ups is garbage, ONLY use usps or canada post they're cheaper, faster, and do a better job. Its beyond me why people keep giving ups their money.

Yup, as Dave said, FED EX is better and cheaper.

That sucks, I've been there and hate when the costs of the fees are more than the actually part purchased.

Yeah, FedEx is much better than UPS. Open a free account at the FedEx website, and get very nice shipping discounts, a tracking #, email updates, automatic billing, etc. UPS will be exting pretty soon, unfortunately. Not that they provide much competition in the way of service and convenience...

Seems to be anywhere outside the USA, Ian. UPS really is only a domestic shipping company, with an international option that they try to discourage anyone from using by charging extra fees on delivery.

For large package items within the US, I use UPS. Anything else is USPS. :) Anything international is USPS.

OK so it turns out.. (after i look at the paper that ups gave) that he put the value of my $15 used intake adapter at $100 us or $108 canadian...that is why i had to pay fucken $55 for the fucken fees.. why the fuck.. i'm soo pissed off right now.. sorry for my swearing.. i just dont understand what he was thinking.. i msged him and told him i want a full reimbursement of my wasted $55 for his stupid mistakes... did i mention i told him to ship via usps and he went ahead and shipped with ups without saying anything till after?....
i dont wanna be an asshole.. but this is bullshit.

That's ok, I just got boned by Fed-Ex today -- missed the driver by literally minutes, called the 800 number and asked to have the driver contacted and I'd meet him wherever he was....bitch on the phone told me that she "had no way to contact that driver".....WTF???? On top of that, I offered to come pick up tomorrow at the facility, and she told me that it takes 24-48hrs to process a pick-up request, essentially making my offer pointless....what the hell is up with these damn parcel companies lately??? Is customer service really dead?

Last time i went to UPS, i had to pick up 3 gauges. They bring them to me and are like 80 dollars brokerage fee. I was like wtf for? the gauges costed 100 dollars, i am not paying almost the equivalent just to have my gauges. They tell me this bs and etc. So i took the box from the counter, said fuck your shipping company, and walked off.
I will NEVER use UPS for anything ever again, this isn't the 1st time i got shafted like that.
