Are U Here 2 take My Baby
I bet what happened when he took it down to ship it,they asked how much it was worth. He told them $15, and the ups people were like," anything value under a $100 is covered by ups to up to a $100" So they insure it for the $100 that ups covers and that of course makes the value of said $15 adapter now $100. Seems like a nice little scam to a get an extra few $$$ here and there. Good luck

That's ok, I just got boned by Fed-Ex today -- missed the driver by literally minutes, called the 800 number and asked to have the driver contacted and I'd meet him wherever he was....bitch on the phone told me that she "had no way to contact that driver".....WTF???? On top of that, I offered to come pick up tomorrow at the facility, and she told me that it takes 24-48hrs to process a pick-up request, essentially making my offer pointless....what the hell is up with these damn parcel companies lately??? Is customer service really dead?

FYI. Fed Ex is parent company for Independent contractors . The 1 800 number is located in Moon Township PA. They have no way to contact each and every driver in the entire US. The driver left you a Door tag with pick up instructions as well as the address of the terminal from which the truck was dispatched. Your package will be back to the terminal by 7pm if shipped Ground and 4pm if shipped Express. Take the door tag and goto the terminal and ask for your package. They will go out to truck and pull it off of the truck for you.

If the truck is still out for delivery goto terminal and ask the Manager of the terminal to contact driver and reattempt or hold for pick up. If your package isn't direct sig required you can sign the door tag and they will leave it.

Contary to popular belief drivers get dinged on the daily service record for every package undelivered. Too many dings in a week cost the driver money. Too many dings in a month may cost the driver his job...So yeah the driver wants to get rid of that package more then you want to get it...Unless you are an Asshole then it will be a few:sarcasm:

KTHX A Fed EX Driver for 5 years..:3d_frown:

No. It wasn't
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frederick_W._Smith Founder of Fed EX Express
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FedEx_Express Fed EX express
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FedEx Fed Ex corp. Parent company to All Fed Ex divisions.

But this isn't a history lesson. If you dont want to deal with a Shipper then don't ship shit. I just love how people blame a Huge Corp for their woes. Yeah, they are out to get you.... This post started with the OP blaming UPS for a mistake...Hmm just so happens that the mistake was the shippers fault not the carrier.

Have any of you actually delivered shit for a living?
Any one actually work for UPS or Fed Ex?
You try driving countless miles surronded by assholes who see your truck as a big fat insurance payout.
Try delivering a 75lbs box of candles while dodging a pissed off dog.
Spend all day in a truck with no A/C in 100+ weather so some stupid cunt can get her shit from QVC.
All this while trying to get to some assholes house that wants you to reattempt a delivery because he wasn't there to get the package he knew was coming because he had a fucking tracking number.
