I did a little research at work and this is what I found. The GTE block can not be order because it is either not imported anymore or is discontinued altogether. The GE short block can be order.

Give burton power a ring. They often have engine blocks for 1950's cars in stock. They make the blocks themselves after having gotten hold of the blueprints/moulds whatever. You can still buy a 1959 Kent X-Flow from them, made out of Alloy :aigo:
