Aiite well lastnite I fried my clutch boosting 18psi
So I've decided that I exceeded my normal maintenance procedures on my Cressida (those of you who know me know the joke), so I'll be pulling my motor out to replace the rod bearings, oil pump, clutch, fix some vacuum leaks, paint my block and do some other things to make my engine unique. I'll be working on the Supra too. 2 Cars, one guy, both cars at work. Wooooooweeeeeeeeee.
Anyway, pix:
So the idiots I bought the car from don't know WTF there doing. They tried to do a NA-T in this Supra and for some friggin reason, they decided to tamper with the wire harnes, and when I say temper, in there case, DESTROY!! I was talkin to a buddy of mine who's familiar with the history of the car and he cracked me up about how they tried to do the NA-T. 440 injectors, not hook afm to the turbo, route the ic piping from the turbo and back to the turbo LOL. Jeez, let the pix speak for them selves.
I could swear this harness was a GTE harness mated to a GE or somethingn. Where'd the CPS plug come from?
Hint to old owner: Injectors don't work if there not plugged in!
I attempted to fix it, wich I did.
But it turns out the CPS wires, even tho crossed, werent the biggest probs. The whole injectors needed to be rewired! Well, knowing me, no big deal...
Lets remove the wires and trace them back to the plug and install new ones....
The deeper I get into, the more I get spooked.
The friggin ECU was just hangin in there and the wire harness has been tampered with under the dash...
And then finally, I took one look at this pos and finally figured that this thing isn't worth rewiring.
So now we go to the Cressida
Supras parts sitting in there
Last look of the dirty old 7M-GTE in the Cressida before its makeover
Removed all the intake and other shit to clear the mounting bolts.
More to come.
