For I think 4-5 years I never had a cupholder, on my motorcyle(only transportation at its time) or later in my supra. Recently I got a jeep with not 1 but 2! cupholders.

OMG I love cupholders now, I never had a problem with having just bottles with lids. The ole' bottle pressed between thigh and Ebrake worked well in the supra. Or since I had no AC an extra cold bottle wedged between your legs was a nice treat. It is nice now to drive by some place and grab a slupree or some other drink in a cup and have a secure place to put it!

Watch all of the plastic parts in the engine bay, especially all parts of the cooling system...lots of it is made from plastic that gets brittle and will crack...like the waterneck, hose couplers, expansion tank, radiator, thermostat housing, radiator cap, etc etc...

The expansion tanks always seem to crack down the side and spray coolant all over the engine, and cause it to overheat immediately...so yea, keep your eye on it.

E36's are also famous for broken water pumps, as the impeller is made of...yep you guessed it......plastic. Good job BMW!!

4 door FTL

I agree...:3d_frown:

I thought all proper M3's are two door... and hardcore cars....

The thing about all the 'M3s' I hate is 95% of them aren't an actual M3, just rice kits to look like an M3... and that's a no no... i've even seen an M3 badge on a 316i... got Joke?

i think the M3 4 doors actually have bigger engines and more power than the 2 door/vert E36 M3's...
how big is the engine proper M3's (well E36 & E46's) run a 3.2L six, early E36 had a 3L

and i think you wrong.

Oh, cause the Road & Track I'm reading right now says:

"Out M3 affair was stoked throughout the 1990s, first by an all-new M3 coupe in August 1994, then by an M3 sedan in May 1997. Ah, an inline-6 had finally arrived, a 240-hp 3.0-liter that propelled the coupe to 60 in 6 sec. flat. The sedan was bumped to 3.2 liters, and its added torque helped the car hit 60 in only 5.6 sec."
