so how much are you over your 2k budget as of now? :biglaugh:

sort of lol, if you include the all the stuff i sold from the old setup then yes. haha i decided to let this project go a litle more since i wanted it to be clean, so i plan on having some stuff powder coated as well as i spent money on por 15 for everything. so it will be a little higher. i'm confident i could've done it for much cheaper, but since the initial decision i have went out and bought a maft pro as well, and bigger injectors. i want to make as much power as i can now, with the stock ct's :)

i really need to get some more pics up but as for progress. the bay is painted... painting with por15 sucks balls. it ended up looking like complete crap so i just sprayed it flat flat on top of por15 in hopes to cover up how shitty it looks. (forget about sanding this stuff off.. its damn near impossible) I'm not satisfied with it at all but i can bare with it for now. Its not show quality but its decent i guess you can say... also the pipes are all completely done. i opened up the turbo elbow to make it a wide mouth. I also coated those pipes in por-20. I will be heat wrapping the pipes this weekend if the wrap comes in. I also have all the oil lines figureed and out return bungs welded in. I also changed the timing belt and all the tensioners on the motor. The big thing that is left.. at least to me is to get that slave cylinder mounted for the trans.

as a downer i have decided to resand alot of my bay because i am not satisfied with the por15. so this may push me back a little who knows. I should also be receiving my exhuast wrap for all the pipes this weekend so that will be done as well. I need to get new pics of the pipes before they get wrapped. i grinded down all my friend's welds and he redid them all so they are much cleaner, still not show quality welds but they are now solid with full penetration.

everyone loves pictures. so here's what i got done today, i figured out the slave cylinder for the trans which fits perfect btw and only needed a little grinding and some screws. i lost access to one of the bell housing bolts but i dont think it will be that big of a deal since two of the bolts are right next to each other. i also por15'd my pipes previously this week so i was able to wrap them. i also decided to take a shot of the motor. i'm pretty sure the motor will be going back in the bay this week once i figure out how to get rid of some of the extra wiring. i'm so glad this is finally coming together, i'm getting sick of not being able to drive the car lol. oh and i reclocked both my turbo's, i found out one of them is leaking oil (very pissed) so if anyone has a good condition one or recently rebuilt stocker please let me know :) no cracked wastegates!

btw blackberry camera phone ftw

I am sure this has been asked already but how much power are you expecting out of this setup?
And was this motor originally from a ls 400 or sc400?

Did you do it by hand? It would be ok if you spray it. I wouldn't do it with a brush unless it was really fine and I would do really thin coats at a time.
