my motoe is almost done.
i'm on a 76dbb turbo so i don't want to have to run into the same issues.

Holy crap Duane, that's kinda scary!

I have new toyota bolts, wonder if I should get ARPS...
The most I can imagine hitting is 650 though, so I should be ok...

Although aaron's comment scared the shit outta me :biglaugh:

None of your fucking business

Nate: Hmmm sort of backwards there I'd be more inclined to think the slipping clutch would have been saving it as at Tq peak you wouldn't have a solid lockup..
Well the clutch slips at the highest torque, then it grabs and shoots almost straight up. Seems like that might put a little stress on them :dunno:

what do 1000rwhp+ 2jz people use?
I'm sure they use arp's, JZ motors have 8 bolts where the 7m only has 6. I'm sure that has a role in this too.

I come from a land down under
Just never had a slipping clutch that would hookup again during a pull, I can understand the scenario Nates talking about just never experienced it.

Usually once a clutch is slipping it's pretty well done.
(I doubt the shockload would be any greater than a solid clutch during a hard shift)
