Bowing down from ROTY...

I have kept my opinion to myself about all the garbage on here lately, but this is ridiculous. I watched this thread unfold last night over Jays shoulder and could not beleive what I was reading.

There is no reason for Duane to feel like he needs to drop out of ROTY. Yes he has put alot of time, and probably cash into his car, but that is no reason for him to feel that he shouldn't compete. If a car is at that level you should be proud of it, not worry that someone is going to get their feelings hurt because they think it's not fair. Life is not fair people!

If you want something you need to shut up and work for it. Do you really think that Duane's car just happened? Do you think that Nate woke up one morning and had enough horse power to break the strap at the dyno? Do you think that there are elves that work on Supraheros car everyday while he works? Do you think Tookwik bought his car , washed it and had a car ready to win ROTM? I could go on and on listing cars on here that are worthy of recognition, but I think you should get my point. These guys and many others on here deserve to be recognized not just for their cars but also for their dedication and hard work. And that my dears is what ROTM and ROTY is for, so we as a community can say "Good Job".

Don't forget Rajunz for you and I we are hard core enthusiaste that push the envelope for our cars regardless of what others say or think. We have never been apart of the popular crowds way of thinking, and wrenching of our cars. We can appreciate others attempts to build a work of art. I realized this over a year ago when you visited my Cardomain page. Duane and a few others are the same way. I have felt this a few times here, and have seen this happen before, so expect more of it. IJ and I use to talk about it alot in PMs way back before the forum crashed. Duane do not bow down to the bullshit!

Well said VIXEN and QUICK, I told Duane to not bow down to the haters. If someone wants a so called "Dream Car" then they need to get their butt out in the garage and build one, or get their butt out in the world and figure out a way to pay for one. No one in this competition has had anything given to them.

There will always be the ones that do, and then there will always be the ones that complain in life.
