What if there were 2 duanes and 2 categories... or 3 duanes and 3 categories? You'd have the same problem. I say don't change a thing. If this was the 15th annual ride of the year or something and hundreds of participants it would be a different story......but its just the first one, and it's just a title, its not the like the ride of the year gets a date with miss america or something, come on guys 
I guess I have not been here long enough but I dont think I have ever seen any pics of Duane's supra. From what I have just read it sounds like its really nice! I can understand why he wants out, I would want out too. I would hate to spend a pile of cash on my Supra then hear people complain that its not fair if I win something for all the hard work. If someone can direct me to pics of duane's car that would be cool. Im really interested to see it now.

Along the same subject line as what Kylefoto posted...Duane built his car his way, for his own pleasure. Not for others to oogle, and stroke his ego, but just cause' he f...ing loves everything Supra! With his quest for perfection comes alot of attention and accolades(goes w/o saying!) Thats all well and good, but if you knew Duane personally, you'd know that he is not playing the "poor me" card, or anything like that. IMHO, his car just flat out outdoes everything out there.:bowdown: Some of the other entrants are close, but nobody, has put as much time and effort into a re-build, of an already 'AWESOME' car!

Hell its tough to beat your setup Duane, but if you are the man to beat then all need to aspire to a higher level, and stop hating wishing it were them in you boat. The heavy weight champ doesnt give up his belt because others got tired of getting beat by him. Step up and battle or step out and cry!Sooo.. step up your GAME people, and stop whining.
I understand why you dropped out Duane, most would have done the same. But I think it is a shame,.... you're pushing the envelope on many fronts and deserve recognition for doing so. I'm not building mine for the recognition either, but credit is due where credit is due, and someone that has just keep their car waxed, cleaned, and threw on some bolt-ons is a joke in comparison. Not to mention all you've done to support the community.

I have to say that I'm very disappointed in Duane's decision, but more so I'm very disgusted with alot of the behavior around here lately, I would expect this at SF, but not here.

Most of yours were already edited, so i dont know what your original posts were, but the ones I read that were quoted did seem a bit confrontational...
