ok so I broke a stud off my Boss TO4E stage 5, 61mm turbo attempting to take the DP off and install a new gasket.
I called Suprasport and they said they'd get back to me with the specs but I'd like to know sooner than later so I can source one and get to work. The turbo definitely has to come off. It broke off flush with the turbo exhaust side.
1) I know it's a 10mm stud. Does anybody know what the thread pitch is?
2) Exhaust studs are sometimes very hard to get out. Does anybody know the if the specs of the other side (threaded into the turbo housing) are the same thread pitch and diameter.
3) The exhaust side of the turbo is investment cast stainless steel. What is the best material for studs to thread into ICSS?
Any Boss owners/experienced guys out there sure could give a guy some HBO (Helpa Brotha Out)
