In most cases when using aftermarket bearings, I find that I will want to line bore the mains to make the bore all one size rather than the multi size crooked holes that toyota gives you. For a near stock (under 450 hp) build, I do not think arp mains will do anything for you. I however, do install them in every motor I do just because that is just me.
