Very creative( you have alot of skill) , I like wide tires in the back but damn those are too wide!

You would love it if he kept that baby blue color:biglaugh:

Ummmm.....its kinda like a faces of death movie, a little too gory, but you wanna see what happens. You should put it in the build section and keep it updated. GL!

love wide rims, but im not much for the design of those ones... but wide body mk3 h3lls ya... def keep the pics coming...

well i was limited on the choice of rims....i couldn't pass up a deal this wide for less than $2000 with tires!! I will end up going with a wider tire in the rear. one step at a time. then it will all eventually unfold!

I think its a tremendous waste of time... especially for ugly ass wrong offset wheels like that.

But thats me. :)

Wow thats allot of work, i have an idea of what it would look like but its going to be hard to finish it off and make it actually look good. In the end it depends on the other details on our cars that make it hard to do body mods without looking like crap.

Could you please elaborate on your comments? Wrong offset for a stock body MKIII, or wrong offset for the widebody that I am working on at this time? Normally I could understand the staggered fitment on a FWD getting hatred for "wrong offsets"...but once again, please elaborate rather then just an empty opinion with no substance behind it

I kinda like it.....where in Florida are you at???

Jacksonville

As for the stretched tires...once again, I am going to be running wider tires, however the stretched tire look is very opinionated...its one of those things you either love or hate....

looking good so far:icon_bigg
by the pics it looks like the wheel is sticking out a bit outside the fender.
the 45degree angle on the sidewall is letting it fit. but if you go with a wider tire it looks like it will rub.
just something to think about:naughty:

Well,:aigo: you did ask for people's feedback!:icon_razz however, even if I didn't like it, I would have given you props for doing something extreme, and different.:boink: I think it is rad, and I would do something similar, but different if I had the ways and means, and, more than one MkIII. The car would look fantastic black, and with the rim spokes, black also. I would not keep those skinny tires on there though. That's not very safe!:nono: The MkIII is just too heavy for that little of air volume. 315's, (if you can fit them) and 295's up front...pure sex!
Please keep the pic's of your progress coming.
Now you need about 600-700whp, to back up all that widebody attitude!:evil2:

As long as when its all done the parts that you add to the body dont flap in the wind, I hate when I see a car with a body kit and the bottom of the fender looks like a towel on a rack just flapin! Diffrent Idea I would like to see it when your done. Im not that far from Jacksonville..

What are you doing with the engine.? Stock?
