Thanks everyone! I def am feeling the valve covers as well! :)

I need some advice/tips/opinions on my power mods... If anyone can chip in that would be great!
My first question is: How realistic is my goal of 400rwhp?

What I have/or have ordered so far:
Turbo - 57 trim CT26
Fuel - Suprasport 550cc oem injectors
Aeromotive AFPR kit
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
Lexus AFM

What I plan to get soon:
Driftmotion stage 3 pressure plate (plan to use a stock toyota disk, it is said to be good to 420rwhp with this setup)
Apexi SAFC or something else
Prosport Wideband kit
Eventually some hardpiping and a new intercooler setup

Am I missing anything? What things to I need first? Can I run the car without SAFC? Maybe just a wideband at first to monitor the air/fuel mixtures? This is slightly new territory for me.
Thanks guys

So I began the tear down of the exhaust side of my 7m-gte tonight...

I found a lot of front to back shaft play on my stock turbo. I was shocked. But I know my turbo is eating my oil quite a bit!

Not a whole bunch of progress but tomorrow I have bigger plans! My new 57 trim will be here either the end of this week or next week early!

Removed my turbo today along with the nasty looking heatsheilds that I had spray painted with high temp engine paint back in the day, before I knew how to powder coat.
I also got my stock turbo heatshield modified today so it will work with my wideband kit coming...
Here is my heatshield

I was thinking of powder coating the turbo hs chrome to make the turbo area stand out. Or go with mirror black for all the heatshields.... OPINIONS?!

Here is the piece I got cut off from the heatshield

I'm freakin excited for Tuesday!

Just took a few hours and read through your whole build. I bought a 87 turbo a few months ago and I have been slowly working on it. I bought mine for $700 not running. I now have it running and I have lots of problems to fix. To see your supra from start to finish has been very inspiring and gives me great hopes for my supra.

thank you lincoln!

You are very welcome Jon35... It has been a long journey and it continues to be! Here is what happened tonight!

Then it rained... There are two tropical systems in the area.

And not even an hour later... UPS arrives and September 7th 2010 turns into Christmas morning!
Big box :)

The anticipation is killing me already.

Ugh... More peanuts, they make such a mess!

Couldn't decide which toys to play with first!!!
I decided I had to look at my new 57 trim CT26 turbo.
