Ok so heres a picture of the engine bay from a while ago...but this is pretty much the same as it is right now...
Could anyone point me out in the right direction? or what do i need to do guy?

But im getting the flutter when the blow off valve goes off (the compression surge type of flutter)... and i just realized now its actually sucking air in it seemed...

Can anyone help me out if they have done this before? point me in the right direction?

Somone helped me saw this in a mag:

"just finnished some reading. june 2003 SC mag pg 230. seems some diverter valves (same as blowofff valves but they send the air back before the turbo/maf sensor)are set up to suck air to by pass the unspooled turbo. goes on to say low spring pressure will open the valve. higher spring pressure will keep the valve close but slow response of the valve."

make sure that vac line is not leaking.. usually jamming it in a bigger hose doesnt work hehe

For one, Ive never seen a Blitz piston style bov with the adjustment screw all the way out. :-(

Turn the screw in a couple turns. See if it still sucks air....

Hell, I have installed several of the Blitz Super sounds for people,
and they don't even come with a screw that long.....

Seeing that it is evidentally a well used valve,
I would suggest pulling it, take the snap ring out,
and inspect the piston, spring, upper spring seat,
(like a large washer that the adjustment screw pushes on to pre-load the spring)
and that adjustment screw, what ever the hell it is......
Look for major scoring on the piston.
If it's really bad, then about all you can do is buy another valve.
Blitz doesn't sell parts for their valves.
Minor scoring isn't too much to worry about.

Then reinstall it, and turn the adjustment in until
it stays closed until you chop the throttle, and then closes back down again.

Don't turn the screw in so far, that it keeps the piston from opening.

Couldn't have said it better...

I cant see your pictures due to a firewall but make sure that your vacuum line is running to the manifold. If you dont have a good vacuum source it wont work right.

Agreed - start by taking off the vacuum line with the engine idling and check if there is any vacuum from it. Just put a finger over the end to see if you can feel it sucking.

is it just me, or does the vacuum line going to the BOV look a little crimped? Id change the whole line to one solid piece of vacuum line just to reduce the risk of a leaky or failed vacuum source to the valve.

It looks like your vacuum line goes to a port on your throttle body. That will not work as a vacuum source. You need to T it off of a manifold port.

Nah, he's got it right. Look closely. I see no BVSV though. Means it's sucking on the EVAP canister during cold off idle operation. That'll make it run even richer than usual until it gets into closed loop.

I looked close but it still appears to me that the routing goes BOV->hose->metal pipe->hose->port on throttle body.

Its hooked on to the manifold port not throttle but thanks...

- I tried the screw before it didn't change the sound... but i tried it while reving only not driving..
- The vacuum is fine...its sucking

jetjock: sorry but can you explain into more detail? i don't know what bvsv means?

do you even have an accordian hose? (between afm and turbo) or is that ghetto rigged on? i hope by now you changed out the vac for the bov to one line instead of 4

The car doesn't produce enough load for the turbo when free reving to make the blow-off valve actuate to where you can hear it.
