Does anyone sell a block off plate for the device on the side of the intake manifold that coolant flows through?

if you don't know what the "device" is, then why are you trying to modify it?
that's my first question...
and to answer your question, and perhaps enlighten you a bit:
the "device" on the side of the intake manifold is the Idle Speed Control (commonly referred to as the ISC, or IAC, but we use ISC)
are you removing the ISC altogether? or do you just want to get rid of the coolant lines to the throttlebody and ISC? what's you plan?
if you just want to remove the coolant hoses, you can just buy a piece of hose of the same size from you local autoparts store, and loop it, bypassing both the TB and the ISC. it would go from below intake runner 2 or 3, to the small pipe leading to behind the head. loop, clamp, and be done with it.
if you're looking for an ISC blockoff plate, may i ask why you're doing this?
i remember someone selling them, but i can't remember who/where.

I just got a Ron R long runner mani. w/ the q45 TB and didn't realize I would want to block that off until I installed it. I want to cut down on the clutter over the fuel rail to clean things up a bit. I already looped the coolant hose when I saw I wanted this.
I know, I was just making a joke:biglaugh: I relocated mine, mounted it to the frame rail under my FFIM, this way I don't have something "hanging" on my mani, and I keep the smooth idle. It was a PITA to do though.
Ok, I tried to get a pic, but you couldn't see anything. So I drew up a diagram, I used 1/2" aluminum plate and some aluminum tube. I cut out the plates as seen in the pic, to fit the valve, spacer and so on. I welded the tube on and attached a hose to the tube and fed that to a similar plate made that fits on the bottom of my TB (engine side of throttle plate, TB already had provisions for a Ford ISC).
Those bolts are too long. Not to mention they're not full thread.
