If you sell it or part it, I'll give you 3 hours before you're slamming your head on something hard wondering wtf you just did.

stick it in your garage. Buy a beater, saved your money or start paying loans. fix her up later. I would personally keep her. You probably not going to find another one in that condition.

Either put the Supra on the back burner untill you pay off all your debt -or- Sell it, pay off all your debt and see if you are in a position to get another Supra (only this time don't mod it with credit cards). Good luck.

It's really not that hard to do.

Impossible, JZ's have unblow-able head gaskets and anti-knock rod bearings. Not to mention the uber-tanium internals that cant break even if you put a 1000hp shot of Nawz on it.

Your thinking of the 7m....

I have given my input already, so I will ask the question that has yet to be asked.

How in the HELL did you blow up your 1J??????

I first thought was, is this a typo?! but then thought..hmmm, The 7 is on the opposite side of the keyboard tot he 1 but then again the M is close to the J. :sarcasm: awww never mind.

My suggestion is to keep it and wait til the money is there or if you have the money now, then rebuild it.

you have weird keyboards there Duane!!

Yeah, I'd keep it 'til I can afford to build a 2j or another 1j.

Here's the thing...even if you sell it and recoup whatever you can get for it and pay back your creditors, you still need a ride.

Which means...you have to buy a car.

If you don't have the money to buy a car cash (and it sounds like you don't) then you need a loan = more debt than you started out to cure.

I'm sure you are of average intelligence and have already considered this, so I think the real question you are probably wrestling with, but don't want to admit is:

Do you really want to put up with the hassle that comes with driving and maintaining a 17 year Supra or do you want to throw in the towel and get a Honda?

If you go the Honda route no one will hate you...this shit aint for everyone. :icon_bigg

The thread starter hasn't logged on since yesterday. He'll say what happened when he logs on again, probably.
